Welcome

The Bible, and in particular the New Testament, has a great deal to say about hope:

  • By God's great mercy we have been born anew to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ." (1Peter 1:3)
  • "...in hope of eternal life which God, who never lies, promised ages ago...awaiting our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ ...so that we might be justified by his grace and become heirs in hope of eternal life." (Titus 1:2, 2:13, 3:7)
  • "For to this end we toil and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe." (1Timothy 4:10)
  • "For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that by steadfastness and by the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope." (Romans 15:4)

The Christadelphians of Champaign County have this kind of hope, and they want to share this Bible hope with everyone. Read how Scripture offers this hope to all people:

  • "the one hope that belongs to your call" (Ephesians 4:4),
  • "the hope of Israel" (Acts 28:20),
  • "for hope in the promise made by God to our Fathers" (Acts 26:6),
  • "having a hope in God ...that there will be a resurrection of both the just and the unjust" (Acts 24:15),
  • "we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him...we rejoice in the hope of sharing the glory of God." (Romans 5:1-2)

This website is designed to bring this "hope in God" to the attention of every viewer, and to encourage them to "seize the hope" that is set before them (Hebrews 6:18).
